Man Sentenced Prison For 7 ½ Years For Child Pornography
A Hopewell man has been condemned to 7 ½ years in prison for ownership of child pornography.
In a Thursday articulation, Attorney General Mark Herring said it was “another solid sentence that will remove a hazardous predator from the group and put him in jail.”
After his discharge, Christopher Scott Ellis will be put on administered discharge and should enlist as a sex offender. He is 33.

Ellis had conceded to 15 checks of ownership of child pornography.
Prosecutors said Ellis shared child pornography records with covert agents from the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force.
In July 2015, officers executed an inquiry on his home. A criminological examination of his PCs uncovered a few thousand pictures and recordings of child pornography, incorporating a number with abused newborn children and babies.
