A sessions court on Tuesday surrounded charges against Bollywood actor Sooraj Pancholi for allegedly abetting actress Jiah Khan’s suicide.
Judge K D Shirbhate surrounded charges against the 27-year-old actor under area 306 (abetment of suicide) of the Indian Penal Code, to which he argued not blameworthy.
“Sooraj argued honesty and the examination of witnesses will begin from February 14,” his lawyer Prashant Patil said.
As indicated by the charge sheet, Khan, best known for her execution in film ‘Nishabd’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan, was discovered hanging at her living arrangement on June 3, 2013 by her mom Rabiya. She had gone out of Sooraj Pancholi, where she had been remaining throughout the previous two days, early in the day that day, it said.
As indicated by the CBI, Pancholi had “shrouded certainties and created data” amid addressing.

Explanation By Sooraj Pancholi
Sooraj Pancholi, the child of Bollywood couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, had declined to experience polygraph or cerebrum mapping tests which the office needed to direct to get to the base of his asserted part in the episode.
The CBI said a three-page note seized by the Mumbai Police, which prior tested the case, on June 10, 2013, was composed by Khan which portrayed her “personal relationship, physical manhandle and mental and physical torment” allegedly on account of Pancholi which drove her to confer suicide.
It said the letter was not marked and even not routed to Sooraj Pancholi but rather it implicated him.
In October 2013, Rabiya Khan had moved the Bombay High Court claiming that her little girl had been killed and looked for a CBI test, which was allowed.
